Collection: 2659 Royal Canadian Army Cadets

Cadets is one of the largest, and oldest, youth programs in Canada. Emphasizing outdoor adventures, Army Cadets offers youths (both male and female) between 12 and 18 years of age the opportunity to engage in exciting outdoor activities, traditional military events, and citizenship activities. Individuals who participate in the Cadet program develop a great sense of PRIDE and DISCIPLINE while honing their individual LEADERSHIP skills.

Army Cadets develop abilities in the use of map and compass, GPS technology, orienteering, first-aid, camping and survival skills, canoeing, abseiling, trekking, mountain biking, and other outdoor adventure skills. As they become more experiences, some Cadets will be selected for parachuting, white-water rafting, and glacier climbing, They will also learn to become outdoor LEADERS.
