The 25th Brant Dragoons regiment consisted of three squadrons; one a Brantford, one at Burford and one at Paris.
At the outbreak of World War One this regiment was absorbed into other units, mainly the Royal Canadian Dragoons and the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles. The officers and men of this regiment, regardless of the unit they served in, had an outstanding record in World War One.
